Raymond McMaster and his wife Hilary have been running their successful Interior business for 48 years in Bangor, originally based in Queens Parade in 1971 and then moving up to High Street in 1983.

After all their years of hard work they finally have decided to retire in July 2019 and they were proud to announce that Wendy their Daughter would be taking the business over in another direction and renaming the company Criterion Interior Designs and she has been doing well so far.

Surprisingly, Wendy herself did not know she had a hidden talent and a natural flair for colour matching until she decided to have a change in direction of career. In 2011 she achieved Professional Interior Design Qualifications through Regent Academy, London and then following on with a CAD qualification through SERC. After achieving this, she then began to show an interest and work within the family business making changes gradually. Over this period of time she has been visiting homes by appointment on the perfect room Interior scheme and gives advice and guidance for their style of living.

Over the past years she has been commissioned to supply and design a local council office, showhomes, office receptions and has recently been involved in the interior design of the refurbishment of Ex-Services Club on the High Street, Bangor. Wendy keeps up to date with the latest interior trends and has introduced a Home Accessory Department in the shop selling Exclusive Lamps, Mirrors, Clocks etc which adds a touch of class to any room.
